Members and Friends of the C. G. Jung Society of Colorado Springs, The Jung Society Board, with much support from our members, has arranged an eventful 2006-2007 season. We plan nine events this season and present them in the initial season newsletter with a new format. The attached newsletter describes the four events of this fall in detail, three events of the winter-spring briefly, and two special winter-spring events in detail. We plan to email you two newsletters this season, one now and one in January, 2007. Each will describe the events of the coming half-season in detail. Shortly, we will also mail you a paper copy of the attached newsletter, which identifies all season events, so you have a full-season hard-copy schedule to refer to if you want it. We welcome your feedback about this new format. Our first speaker of the season is Stephen Foster , who, with a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry, works in the environmental field, and with an M.A. in Psychology, is a psychotherapist and a candidate in the process of becoming a Jungian analyst. Lecture: Title: Jung's Synchronicity and the Tarot: A Psychological Discussion of Selected Cards Date and Time: Friday, September 29, 2006, 7 pm Location: Unity Church in the Rockies at 1945 Mesa Road in Colorado Springs. Details about the lecture appear below and in the member newsletter at the attachment. Administrative Info: With few exceptions, memberships expired at the end of last season. Please bring your membership back to consciousness! Renew now to receive reduced entry cost at events. Renew also to join with others in bringing our community expanded understanding and creative application of Jung's concepts to a variety of fields of interest. The attachment is in the format of a Microsoft Word 2003 document. In case of any problems, a copy of the newsletter also appears under my name below. Copying it into an email often loses some formatting, so use the attachment if you can. We strive to protect your email privacy by sending these newsletters to you as BCC addressees. You should receive this email without seeing any addressee's name or email address in the email header other than the Society's in the TO and FROM lines.
